Beginners Group

The beginners' group is run by the band's principal cornet, James Dennis, and principal flugel horn player, Melissa Ramplin. The group currently numbers 14 players aged from 4 years upwards and new players are always welcome: the oldest beginner we have ever had was in his lates 70s, so it is never too late to start!

The beginners' group rehearse in our club every Monday (except bank holidays) between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and provides free tuition and a loan of an instrument to anyone wishing to learnt to play a brass instrument for the first time.
