Awards for All

The Long Eaton Silver Prize Band is a friendly community based brass band organisation, comprising of three groups (our senior and training bands and a beginners' group) and of 93 players, which promotes and encourages live music within the borough of Erewash and the surrounding areas. Our primary objective is to encourage and provide opportunities for people all ages to play or learn a musical instrument, targeting young and disadvantaged groups. We raise musical and cultural awareness through a variety of local concerts, charitable events and contests. The senior band contests in the 3rd section and was Midlands Area and National Champions in this section in 2006.
